ES-8700 iSCSI/NFS Cluster
ES-8700 iSCSI/NFS Cluster bilden eine hoch flexible Storage Lösung, die iSCSI und optional NFS Volumes synchron repliziert und im Fehlerfall durch automatisches Failover verfügbar erhält. Nebenher können diese Systeme auch (ungeclusterte) CIFS Volumes für Windows Fileserver-Dienste zur Verfügung stellen, inklusive Replikation (auch über WAN) und Snapshot-Funktionalität.
Mit der neuen Software Version DSS V7 wird optional auch active/active Cluster unterstützt, was die Performance durch gleichzeitige Nutzung der Ressourcen beider Systeme weiter steigern kann.
ES-8700DSS gibt es auch als Einzelsysteme. Eine nachträgliche Erweiterung zum Cluster ist möglich.
Open-E DSS ist VMware ready und Citrix ready.
