ES-6600 SAS/SAS
ES-6600 SAS⁄SAS RAID with 16 disks, expandable
EUROstor ES-6600 SAS RAID systems with Serial Attached SCSI replace the classical parallel SCSI interface when it comes provice storage capacity locally (direct attached) to a server. But unlike those SCSI systems, they also support RAID 6, and furthermore SAS and SATA disks can be mixed within the same system.
SAS disks with 15,000 rpm are more then twice as fast as standard SATA disks. With their intelligent SCSI processor they further speed up data throughput, offering the same i/o rates as Fibre Channel disks.
ES-6600 SAS RAID can also be offered with Fibre Channel interface, and as top loader with up to 64 disks on 4 U, with SAS, Fibre Channel or iSCSI interface.
