ES-6800 iSCSI RAID, 24 disks
EUROstor ES-6800 iSCSI RAID systems offer a very flexible way to supply storage capacity to many servers in an Ethernet based SAN, either with 1 Gbit or with 10 Gbit iSCSI connections. Each single volume can be expanded when needed without loss of data.
Up to 32 snapshots per volumes can be defined, allowing roll-back, but also to mount the snapshot to a server for a backup while the original volume can still be accessed and changed.
These RAID systems also offer local volume cloning, and – with an optional license and a second system – also remote replication can be done.
ES-6800 RAID systems also support PowerSave, to spin down drives that have not been acces-sed during a defined time. This saves up to 50% of the power and increases the lifetime of the disks. This is especially interesting when using the RAID in backup or archiving applications.
