ES-8700 iSCSI/NFS Cluster
ES-8700 iSCSI/NFS Cluster build a highly flexible storage solution, that replicates synchronously iSCSI and optional NFS volumes and, with automatic failover, keeps them available even in the case of a system failure.
Additionally these systems can be used as file servers for Windows clients (CIFS), including replication (also over WAN) and snapshot functionality.
A new version DSS V7 will be released soon. For all systems bought after May 1st 2012 there will be a free upgrade. This new version will also optionally support active/active cluster, which will improve the cluster performance.
ES-8700 has been successfully testet with VMware!
ES-8700DSS is also available as single node system and can be expanded to a cluster solution at a later time.
Open-E DSS is VMware ready and Citrix ready.
